What a lovely windy day today, i decided to take full advantage of the weather, i stripped beds and washed all bed linen. The wind dried them so well that they dried in my neighbours garden; which is where they landed after being blown off the line!
Just lately our Milly has been feeling alittle flat, trouble sleeping, concentration limited, and not socially active.
I walked into Millys room today, sat on the bed awhile and thought, "maybe she needs a change round".
Milly tells me she does not like change, but how do you know if you dont try things. What harm can it do? At worst if Milly does not like it we can change things back to how they were.
I remember being told years ago, you should never have your bed behind the door, i do not follow Fen Shui
but have always remembered this, something to do with blocking your energy.(i think thats the reason).
Millys dressing table is infront of her window, which again was blocking light which is energy.
So with no time to waste i set about changing Millys room around, i then repaired millys mirror, re-hung her fairy lights which i have been meaning to do for weeks. What a transformation! The room is alot lighter, more room and has a calmness about it.
Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all?
Tomorrow i am going to do another room in the house. i have a piece of furniture, a small table, i bought it years ago and have taken it with me everytime we moved never really knowing what to do with it.
I have decided i like the shape but it needs some paint magic and a purpose. With this new attitude i am going through each room at a time and anything that makes me feel that i am just putting up with it, is going to be addressed.
The legs are a nice shape, this is going to be my next project.
Milly can now see the trees outside her bedroom window.
Sometimes a change is as good as a rest, i now understand this saying. I cant wait to get started. x
